For Pride Circle’s Annual Flagship event, RISE (Reimagining Inclusion for Social Equity) which is Asia’s Biggest LGBTQ Conference & Job Fair, we facilitated the planning and execution of the Job Fair & Conference on a Virtual Platform.

A Tour of the Virtual Setup

A 4-day virtual event was organized entailing 3 days of Workshops & Knowledge Transfer Sessions and a Job Fair with Top Exhibitors viz. JP Morgan, Netflix, and Microsoft. The workshops were held in 2 slots every day and slot-wise tickets were given to all the registered attendees.

The Planning Phase

To ensure the smoothest possible experience for all attendees, we designed an interface that allowed users from any country to log in with a single-screen view formatDedicated consoles were developed to handle the high volume of on-site and in-office. Extensive research, rehearsal, test runs, and know-how were undertaken before the event to ensure faultless execution.  Global speakers from various nations were invited and concurrent sessions including Q&A, quizzes and insightful talks were held in two auditoriums.

Facilitating Immaculate Concurrent Shortlisting

Smooth execution of the workshop was put into effect with thousands of attendees visiting the platform along with handling the concurrent shortlisting of the candidates by the Exhibitors who were connected on audio & video calls in their respective waiting rooms. Facilitating the job fair was a technical challenge since all the video-calling terminals had to be supervised.  HR personnel from the registered companies arrived in multiple or parallel shifts over the course of 14 hours. We reimagined the job fair in a gamified virtual format where legit merchandising was carried through.

The Impact

The Job Fair encompassed 45 Virtual Booths and 130 Video-calling terminalsMore than 3000 users attended the event around the world with 1000s of candidates getting selected and elevated for the next round of interviews.  The event was seamlessly executed with impeccable management of all the zones with almost 95% of the projected results achieved.
